The high sensitivity WAAS enabled receiver with HotFix satellite prediction allows the 550t to quickly locate your position and maintain it even in heavy cover and deep canyons. You can interface with your PC using the included high speed USB cable and the Oregon 550t is also NMEA 0183 compatible.
Maps and Memory: The Garmin Oregon 550t comes pre-loaded with topographical maps of the continental U.S. and a worldwide base map with shaded relief that includes most major interstates and state routes. You can add maps using the available 850 MB of internal memory or you can purchase the optional MapSource maps on microSD cards. Just insert the card and go. Store your favorite locations using the available ability to store 200 waypoints. The 550t also can store 200 routes and save 200 track logs using 10,000 points.
